Private Foundations - $150 for 3 private sessions and $60 per session after the 3rd
Semi-Private Foundations (2-3 Yogis) - $120 for 3 semi-private sessions and 35$ per session after the 3rd
*Semi-private Foundations is for a small group or couple who want to learn Foundations together.
Designed specifically for beginners or those looking to refresh their practice, before jumping into group classes, this exclusive series comprises 3-5 private or semi-private sessions that serve as your personal introduction to yoga and prepares you for public classes. Whether you're seeking to enhance your physical wellbeing, find mental clarity, boost confidence, or explore breath work, our Foundations series is the perfect starting point if you don’t want to jump into our public classes yet.
What will I learn?
Sun Salutation Basics, Customized: Dive into the essence of yoga practice by mastering the basics of Sun Salutations, a foundational series of poses designed to warm up the body, build strength, and enhance flexibility. Experienced instructors will guide you through each posture but also work with you to create a modified Sun Salutation tailored specifically for your body. This personalized sequence will ensure you move safely and confidently, allowing you to take this practice into other yoga classes, where Sun Salutations are a commonly taught sequence.
Prop Mastery: Learn how to use props like blocks, straps, and bolsters to support and deepen your practice, even when teachers don’t directly queue their use. Props can be incredibly helpful, especially for beginners, by making certain poses more accessible and comfortable. Foundations will show you how to incorporate these tools seamlessly into your practice, in any class.
Confidence Building: Transitioning to group classes can be daunting. Our Foundations series is designed to build your confidence, familiarizing you with common poses and yoga etiquette, as well as the studio space itself, so you feel ready and excited to join the broader yoga community.

Solid Foundation: We cover the essential building blocks of yoga practice, preparing you not just physically, but also mentally and emotionally for your yoga journey.
Community Connection: Starting with individualized sessions, creates a personal connection with your instructor immediately. Your Foundations instructor will happily introduce you to others around the studio as well, when you’re ready to join group classes. After Foundations is up, you will be ready to purchase a membership and start your regular group practice or continue with our standard Privates.
Foundations Policies
Due to the customized nature of Foundations, you must sign up and pay for your total experience up front. There is a minimum of 3 sessions together, with a maximum of 5 sessions.
Foundations are highly encouraged to take place within a month. To feel the effects of yoga (much like vitamins, diet, or forming good habits) it takes consistency. Getting your foundations done in a month, prepares you better than extending this time period out further. If necessary, foundations can be completed in two months.
Full refunds available up to 48 hours before your first session begins. Once sessions have started and after the 48 hour window before, no refunds. Foundations takes tailored planning from your instructor, and their time is valuable.
If something comes up (as life tends to do), we are happy to work with you to reschedule your Foundations Session!
